The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio (previously CATCO) is an anti-racist contemporary theatre company that anchors a thriving Columbus theatre ecosystem in an empathetic, equitable world. Their purpose, to harness the transformational power of theatre that engages with our current moment to inspire a community of empathy. They were ready to re-introduce themselves to the community with a new name, logo, and brand.

We evolved their brand to reflect their mission of inspiring community rooted in empathy. The brand came to life through an optimistic color palette, a flexible and approachable typeface, and a new logo that proudly placed them at the heart of Ohio.
